Getting My Stuff Back!

Didn't exactly know where to put this.
I recently moved back from the Isle of Man after a few months spent with friends, I just had to take some time out from my day to day life!
Anyways, I bought a lot of stuff whilst I was over there and I need to find a way of getting it from there to here (Nottinghamshire).
What's the best way of transferring my stuff?
The options I see are -
- Hire a man with a van.
- Courier services?
- Getting my friend to post the stuff to me (very expensive I'd imagine!)
Does anyone else have any ideas?
Thanks.

or antique furniture?
or postage stamps?

on re-reading the OP it could almost be a troll...The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
A troll? Haha.
No, stuff like an exercise bike, a few big boxes of DVDs, some furniture and a computer desk.
I'm genuinely asking a serious question.0 -
Seriously?

''Money can't buy you happiness but it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery.''0
