Even assuming OP could get open ended bridging finance having recently changed jobs, this is not a good idea, in my view. It means having responsibility for maintaining two homes, with all that entails, which might be all well and good for a few weeks to bridge a gap, but what if it takes months or longer to sell the house?
OP have you considered renting a room in a shared house in your new area? You wouldn't need to put your belongings into storage as they could stay in the house - and in any event furnished houses generally sell better than empty ones. It would also give you the opportunity to have a ruthless de-clutter and present the house for sale to its best advantage, since you won't be living there, you won't need all the clutter of day to day living. Also renting a room in a shared house means that you won't be committing yourself to a 6 months tenancy agreement, if you get a buyer quickly and are in a position to start the house buying process in your new town.I'm a retired employment solicitor. From the photos of the garden, it looks as if the OP has a family to consider, so moving into a rented room might not be feasible.0

When were your photos taken? I know we've had a pretty poor year weather wise, but they make the inside look very dark and depressing. I would get the EA back to do another set on a bright sunny day.
Take all the magnets off the fridge - may sound petty but it just looks untidy. Move the microwave and the bits and pieces on top of the cupboards as it gives the impression you do not have enough storage/counterspace. Kettle and maybe the storage jars are all that should be visible. You can obviously put it all back once the photos done.
Get the front done again without the wheelie bin and a nice pot of flowers beside the front door. No view of rear of the house from the garden? Any chance you could give the wall on right of the rear garden a quick coat of paint?0 -
I would have thought it comes down to this - is renting it out going to make money (or more particularly, enough money to outweigh the hassle of doing it).
If not, I would look at other options.0 -

Photo's can't be that bad as people have been coming but clearly any advantage will help.
As pointed out, have 2 year old so no room share option. Will most likely just have to bite the bullet and rent somewhere cheaply if still paying the mortgage on this place.0 -

If it was just for a few weeks, then no problem, but I don't want to be 200 miles away from the family all week.
I will just tighten my belt and have to pay the rent and mortgage.0
