Is there anything that can be done to speed up the house buying process? We've had our offer accepted and a home report done, now just need approval from the bank and solicitors side to be done.....is there anything that can speed it up at all?

It depends on the chain and how complex the results of searches are. My conveyancer had my searches back in ten days but your buyers or sellers might not be so good. Also where are your sellers moving too? You have THEIR seller too!0

You can chase up the mortgage for the offer, this will then be sent to the solictor, have you had your homebuyers report back? (are you having one?) then your solicitor once you have paid the fees start the searches. Have you recieved the property information and fixtures and fittings list?
