Hi. Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes.
My boys currently go to nursery but I have to take them out of it next month as being made redundant so can't afford it. My older boy is 3 next month so wAs going to be getting his free 15 hours at the nursery. Is he still entitled to this as he will be away from there for a month before theseptember term starts. Thanks

He is still entitled but not necessarily through the current provider. If they have a waiting list they may allocate his space to another child.
IMO I would speak to the provider and explain the situation and ask what they can do.
If he's finishing in July but his funding starts in Sept it maybe that they can agree to reduced hours in order to keep his place, or even keep existing hours and agree a payment plan ?
My sil lost her job and was starting another in 6 weeks time. Her nursery agreed for her lo to keep attending in order to keep his place but they agreed to reduce the fees to 75% and that was split into 2 payments, 1/2 was paid as normal and the other half was split over a month or 2 once she had started the new job. The nursery didn't have a waiting list so it made sense to make some money out of the space rather than none, especially as the child would need nursery provision once she started back to work.0 -
I worked in a nursery until end of last year yes you can get15 hours at the nursery free butonly in term time. Many nurseries have children leaving in September to go to school so usually have placesat that time of year but let them knowas soon as you can that you want a places. In some areas you can get free placesfor 2 year olds so worth looking into if you have younger children.
