Credit Card Charges Abroad

Hi,

I live in the UK. How much of a fee would be charged if I made a £2000 payment on my NatWest credit card (Mastercard) in Ireland?

Thanks

Without knowing the terms of the card I can only guess - if a cash advance then a 3% fe.e plus a non sterling charge of around 1.9%

    1.9%?

    I think it's 2.75% in fact.

Northern Ireland is in the UK so there shouldn't be any charge for a non-cash transaction. As OP expressed the transaction in £££ then presumably he's referring to NI. The Republic uses €€.

I live in Northern Ireland but I will be travelling to Dublin and plan to put a 2356.92 Euro (£2000) payment on a credit card. I will not be using the credit card to lift money out of an ATM.

Then it sounds like 2.75% as in post 3. I haven't checked

You'll have a job improving on that

Cap One Aspire World CC, Halifax Clarity CC, Post Office CC to name but a few wouldn't impose this charge of £55.
