Virgin Mobile Insurance

Hi.
I have just received an email from Virgin Mobile stating from next month they are increasing the excess on my insurance from £35 to £70. Is this legal, as surely once I sign up for it, it is fixed for the length of the contract. In the same email they state they are increasing the monthly line rental as well.
Thanks,
Dave

Looks like they have a clause which allows them to change or reduce your cover by giving 30 days notice.
I'm pretty sure orange have applied inflationary line rental increases during contracts. Again, its in the contract.0 -
Hardly seems fair though. As I am tied in for 24 months whats to stop them increasing every few months until I am paying a silly sum every month or to replace my phone if something happens to it?0
