Insuring both cars with same insurer

I've seen advertised policies which give a discount if you insure both cars e.g. mine and my husbands. Are they any good?

How does it work if your renewals aren't in syn? Mine is due end June his is due Jan 2008.

Any advice gratefully recieved.

Look and see if you can do each car separatly through Quidco, then you'll get two cash backs.

When we bacame a 2 car family we insured both cars with the same co for a discount. If they aren't due at same time you will have to cancel his and start a new policy with the new co or take yours off the road till Jan so they both start together. We got quite a good discount and for the first year only they matched hubbys full NCB on both cars. Worth doing IMO.
