Hi all
I got married a month ago and we are looking at the pros and cons of getting a joint account. The main worry is weather or not my other half's credit history could negatively effect my credit rating. Any advise??

As soon as you have a joint account, you also share the creditworthiness. If either of you has a bad rating, it might not be such a good idea to get a joint account. It all only matters, though, if you want to get credit - - a loan, a mortgage, a credit card etc.0
