Masters in social work

Can anyone help me with grants/loans/bursaries with masters in social work?

I believe you can get an NHS bursary, how about a maintenance loan or parent learning allowance or adult dependants grant etc?

Thank you

Bursaries are now only being given to certain masters students as decided by each individual university- seemingly so far by academic ability....

Career developement loans from banks are also available.

The parents part of the bursary is approx £1500 and maintenance which is means tested is also included. But as I said previously this is something that is decided upon by the university once you have been offered a place. You then have to apply through the nhs social work bursary website.

Further info I get approx £2500 3 x a year and that is the most you can get unless you are in london (oh and I'm a parent) I do not have adult dependants though and nor am I disabled. Oh and the university topped up my fees so I don't pay for that either.

Thats brilliant, thank you! I just wasn't sure if you had the option of applying for extra or if it was just a set amount bursary etc!
