Is Morrisons cheaper than asda?

I was just wondering if anyone knew anywhere online that I could compare Morrisons prices or if in general they come out cheaper than the other major supermarkets?

In my 10 year experience of supermarket shopping I much much prefer Morrisons.
It seems that when the supermarkets prices are put up against each other Asda comes out top but I don't believe these take in to account two 4 ones.
The number of two 4 one offers in Morrisons always exceeds Asda so if you're clever you can end up with twice as much in your trolley as the same shop at Asda for a similar price.
And before anyone suggests it the prices in Morrisons are not twice as much as those in Asda.

Lately I have been shopping at Morrisons, due to being near my class, and I'm quite impressed with them, some good offers, etc... I prefer them to Asda or Tescos at mo!!

morrisons are cheaper for some things and asda are cheaper on other things

i generally find morrisons to be the cheapest of the supermarkets for booze

they are also the cheapest (and best in terms of selection) for nuts etc

morrisons are also king of the BOGOF deals

booze for major supermarkets:

Morrissons
Asda
Somerfield
Tesco
sainsburys

somerfield i would put inbewteen asda and tesco but sometime they even have deals that match or come close to morrisons

I prefer morrisons for their 2 4 1's and they have a more family run atmosphere though they only take coupons if you have really bought the item

I find a lot of morrissons bogofs are really unhealthy stuff. I only shop there if i have to (its my nearesr supermarket)-but i find Asda customer service and prices better for what I wanT. Fixtureferrets (about £5 to join) allow you to compare the prices of these two,and they email you with bargaINS.

From my experience I would say Morrisons is probably a bit cheaper than Asda.

I would agree with the comment that most of the stuff on offer at Morrisons is unhealthy junk. Lots of Morrisons own brand foods seem to contain artificial colours, flavours, preservatives and hydrogenated fat. Tesco and Sainsburys seem to be keen on reducing/removing these things.

I'm more of a Tesco fan myself, but that's only because they take coupons and I like to collect Clubcard points.

I take the Morrisons Leaflet with all the bogoffs on it and get them from Asda using the Ad-Match policy.

This saves a lot of cash and sometimes there is an item on offer at Asda that give a double discount when used with the Morrisons deal.

Asda is far closer to where I live than Morrisons so this helps get the best deal locally.

I've always preferred Morrisons because their aisles are wider than Asda. You never get the "stressed" feeling while you're in there and it seems less busy than Asda (although it probably isn't). Plus most of the tills are manned which means less queueing time and a better "shopping experience".
Their BOGOFs are many, prices much the same as Asda and they're not Walmart.

I think Morrisons are cheaper than the Safeways they replaced and are often exactly the same prices on branded goods but some own brands can be dearer in my experience but I am not a regular shopper so not an expert.

Echo the same comments as before - very little of the by one get one frees at Morrisons would I buy as their are so unhealthy and other supermarkets I find the offers are on the things I would consider buying.

I mostly do my shopping split between Sainsburys and Tesco depending on what the offers are mainly as they are closer but I keep a list of items that I stock up on when I go to ASDA as they sometimes have extremely good price reductions.
