Hi
I'm going up to London on August Bank Holiday and were planning on going to see Wicked.
Where is the best/cheapest place on line to get tickets, also would anyone recommend the ticket stalls in London? Thanks :j

The Theatre Monkey website is often the best guide to this sort of thing. Go to the page for Wicked/Apollo Victoria and click on Where to Buy Tickets.
This lists several agents that are STAR members. I don't see any great discounts (there often aren't for popular musicals like this), but booking through Theatremonkey Ticketshop or LOVEtheatre does seem to be a little cheaper than Ticketmaster once you take booking fees into account.
If you book through an agent, always make sure that it is a member of STAR (Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers).0 -
The front two rows for Wicked are reserved for sale at the theatre box office on the day for £29.50 for all performances except Sat evening and students can also get best available tickets for the same price on the day. At the time of year you are going you are unlikely to get discounted seats for any ticket outlets. Get into London do a sale in January and also kids week in August where children go free with paying adults.

Just book on the ATG or Ticketmaster - I am not sure who has them now as it was owned by Ticketmaster but taken over by ATG - however there was a long take over on the website sales side. Anyway - front row as above but you need to Q early for day seats we tend to be there by 7am but u can be lucky but unlikely in August. There is however a ton of what they class as restricted view seats in the stalls - stick to the right hand side when looking at the map and u barely miss anything. The stage on the left comes out a bit more so you miss more of the stage, although still not much and they are cheaper again.
There is not often offers for WKD0 -
You can try to get discounted tickets on the streets, though it wouldn't be a good seat.
Ticketmaster.com is your best bet (you can get e-ticket and worry not about delivery), or if tickets are sold-out, which I doubt for everyday show like that, your last resort will be marketplaces like:
seatwave.com, ticketsnow.com, ticketsw.com or many others and keep an eye on groupon deals of course.
hope it helps0
