Current account and savings advice

Hi all,
It has been a while since i actually posted on this forum(please forgive meJ)

I am looking for abit of advice with regards to mycurrent account and savings.

I currently bank with the coop but wanting to move mysavings and possibly even my current account away from them.

I have around £5.5k sat in an ISA with them and around£300 in a general savings which i use for emergencies. I pay in £500 and £100each month respectively.

I will need access to my ISA around this time next to puttowards some other cash for a mortgage deposit, so long term deals are out ofthe question.

What bank is offering the best deals for my situation atthe moment?

This is the first time I have looked around in a longlong time, and the interest rates are really poor on any savingsL.

Just to add, I pay Coop £13 a month for a premier accountwhich gives me mobile insurance, breakdown cover and access to credit report. Ihave been paying this just for ease really instead of shopping around for eachcover individually.

Any advice would be greatly received.

Sorry for long Post & I wasn’t sure where to postthis either

YL.

I don't see any point in shopping around for the best place for just £300 of 'general savings'.

    For ISA check Cash ISAs
For £500+£100 p.m. regular savings account(s) can be much better than ISA, but normally the access to the funds is restricted for 12 months: Regular Savings.

Without regular savings it's worth considering Nationwide FlexDirect current account that pays 5% on up to £2.5K balances. This is better than any cash ISA: Best Bank Accounts
