many children! can we get a cheap deal?

HI All

I hope you may be able to help, I have been looking around all afternoon to find a good holiday. Unfortunately we are not the typical family.

Partner and I have 6 (yes 6) children aged 2 at 14 (twins), 1 at 13, 1 at 12, 1 at 10 and little suprise who is 2.

Due to work and stuff we have a window of the 23rd of July to the 3rd of August. We would really like to go abroad, somthing near a beach, with a pool, activities for the kids and sunshine. I would consider 7, 10 or 12 days.

I don't really mind where as long as it is family freindly. We need to fly from Manchester. The problem seems to be our budget we have around £2500.

I have been looking at all sorts of apartments, 3 hotel rooms but am really struggling.

Shall I see if a travel agent could do it any better, or just keep looking. Any help would be very welcome.

This may be no use at all but have you looked at campsites - keycamp and the like? As in their supertents, not ones you take yourself.

I'm not sure how many they will hold but it's more than an average appt or rooms. I've never been myself but people seem to like them for the kids activities etc.

Failing that, I'd have thought a villa would be better for you, but I guess you've checked that out. Have you looked in your local paper for private owners advertising villas?

Sorry, not much help - I've found it hard enough with three children so can appreciate the difficulty you're having!

We did this last year in France but went with my brother, sister in law and their kids. We had to put 2 of our kids in their tent. The tents only sleep 6.

Unfortunatley unable to do the same this year as sister in law heavily pregnant, so no hols for them ( I have told her she has not planned it very well lol).

Hi

Could you not fly from Liverpool as ryanair have some great prices out for the dates that you want.

You could fly to Salou for all 8 of you for around £648 going on mon / 23rd returning thur / 2nd

Then you could try accommodation only websites. I've not had time to look for you but i will later on.
