Hi,
I'm just getting a gas hob replaced in the kitchen. Do I need to get a gas safe certificate or something to prove the work has been carried out safely?
Cheers

it depends on the RGI, a hob doesn't have to be reg with GS so you won't have any paperwork sent to you from them or BC, don't forget to check his GS card & make sure cookers is listed on the back, so you may just get an invoice although personally i always give the customer a safety cert when installing a new applianceI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0
