Bradford Bingley Rate Rise

Just contacted BB, and they will be updating their savings rates from 3rd June :D

Just know that the Premier Additions will be 5.5

  • Nice one, will keep an eye out - they always seem to drag their heels when it comes to increases after an interest rate rise.

    Thanks

Good to know. I'm also waiting for Yorkshire. Loads have announced increases today but these two seem to lag behind.

Just checked the site and they have updated most of their accounts >

The eISA is 5.80 now, so I'm happy :)

But not the full 0.25% - just 0.2%

Yes B&B have done the 0.20% rise instead of the full 0.25% rise before, last time on the eISA.

I am tempted to move my eSavings to ICESAVE as I have no faith in ICICI.

    Hi Guys

It is 0.25% for the eISA - I've checked the following link at it does state prev at 5.55 and the new at 5.80 >

    http://www.bradford-bingley.co.uk/savings/product/index.asp

The eSavings is 0.20% from 5.60 to 5.80 (but I don't use this as ICEsave and ICICI do offer better).

It's a shame you know, all the best rates are online and I've ended up closing nearly all my branch based ones (just kept one for emergency) > used my local BB for so many years and knew all the staff, and now I hardly need to go there.
