Victoria Plum Tree losing fruit

The thing is it is at least 2 years old, has fruited before in a tiny pot (the one supplied by the garden centre) according to nursery man so I thought I was doing it a favour. But nevertheless I will try to find a bigger pot, it is only temporary, it should be in the ground in the next 6 months

It's a young tree to have fruited. If it did, I think it would have been because the plant was very stressed physiologically. Plants will sometimes put all their energy into producing seeds if conditions are very poor.
Don't leave it six months! Move it into a bigger pot with more compost and feed it and water it well otherwise you could be planting a dead stick.0 -
