Hi can anyone help me with my alarm. I have an Accenta + ADE alarm, I dont know the version series and cant find it on the panel. I tried changing the existing code by doing the following:
Enter code
Prog
press 8
press 1
New code
Reset twice.
The new code did not work, and the old code did not work either.
I'm not sure if I should have put in the 1 after the 8, so i tried putting in 1[first three digits of my new code] The alarm is responding now, but all that happens is the number 2 on the led panel is lit, and the panel chimes (not in a good way). I cant set the alarm with this "new code" and the only way to get it to stop is put the "new code" back in again, any ideas?

Difficult without knowing exactly which model, but as far as I am aware they usually require pressing prog first and then inputting your old code, then 8 etc, unless you've mistyped it above.
You only need the 1 if it's set up to have 2 different user codes, then 1 or 2 indicates which code you want to change.0 -
Does it look like this:
