weed + grass killer

i have a garden with a block paved path and the rest is decorative red gravel with a weed barrier underneath,weeds,grass and other life are coming through,i want to kill everything once and for all,sodium chloride was the way to go before it was banned,what is the next best solution.

I believe Glyphosate based weed-killers is the modern alternative. It will kill weeds and grass too!If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!

You can, I think, get glyphosate based weedkillers which have another active ingredient and are advertised to stay weed-free for 6 months. Pathclear or similar.
I have some but haven't yet used it so don't know if it is longer-lasting than the usual glyph.0
