Amazon mystery! Extremely cheap but do they exist?

I saw a Netgear DG834G modem/router on Amazon at a ridiculously low price to buy (not auction). It was on sale for £14.99 + postage (£20). Then today, the day after, I saw the same item for £9.99 + postage (£15). This seems to be an extremely good modem/router that should sell for £69.99. These were two different sellers, though something tells me that this was the same person under 2 aliases. There was no previous history for the sellers and no other products on sale by either of them.
I have purchased both of these, but no orders have shown up on Amazon yet, no money has been taken, one if not both email addresses don't exist though I did get order confirmations from Amazon!
This is my first post, I had to let people know about this in case it's a scam. In my hurry I may have posted to the wrong board, sorry!

Hi again, the mystery deepens! Since I posted this I noticed a post on the 18th April about a pay-as-you-go mobile for £4.99 from Harry7227 at http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos...6871678-2066814 but guess what ... Harry7227 is now called fate391, the same person selling the modem/router! (Why was he listed as having no other items in Marketplace when he has?)
Methinks someone has hacked Amazon and is playing silly games changing their name regularly and putting items up at prices that are ridiculoulsy cheap and almost certainly don't exist. If in doubt try emailing the seller at fate@fatersons.com and you'll see that something weird is going on.
If I've got this wrong then I apologise but some explanation is due as you don't sell really cheap goods from false email addresses and keep changing your sign-in without a reason.
Does Amazon know about this? I think so as I haven't had any money taken for my orders which is unusual in itself! Could I be onto something big?
Someone else take a look please and let me know what you reckon ....

I found the same thing with dvd players through the Starlogic thread on this site. If you click on alternative players it shows a Sony at 9.99 but with a different name each day.0

"Due to a technical difficulty" my orders don't exist and I have not been charged even though I received confirmations for both orders. Err ... yes very convincing Amazon. You know someones messing about on your site!
Glad someone else has noticed it. Thanks for that chrisw

Still going on with set top boxes cameras you name it, all I get from Amazon is that the seller can't accept payment, they definately know what's going on but seem powerless to stop it, their e-mail states that this is confirmation of your contract to buy! I have e-mailed and asked them to enforce it....no response yet, intersting that I ordered books at the same time and this went through so their excuses do not ring true. What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0
