Morrissons won't accept voucher

Options
Tried to redeem a downloaded voucher for clover at my local Morrisons and was told they do not accept these. Anyone had the same problem I will try at Sainsburys and see what happens .

I used a downloaded £1 off Clover at Tesco last Friday. They had an offer on at the time and it made a good deal.

There was no problem using the voucher, maybe try another supermarket.

    Good luck

I've had the same at Morrison's. They must miscommunicate to the staff, because they do accept printed vouchers, but not photocopied ones.

My husband tried to use the Dr. Oetker ones and was knocked back. I complained and received a phone call saying that the cashier must have been mixed up because they do accept them, and have sent us a £5 voucher for the hassle.

Maybe write to the manager and request that the staff are trained in what is acceptable and what isn't?

Had the same issue with a downloaded Sprite voucher a few weeks back.

I was advised by another forum member to let Head Office know, I'll try and find the link and add it. :)

Just to update,I e-mailed Morrisons head office and have been advised the downloaded voucher should have been accepted and senior managers have been told to advise check-out staff accordingly.
I still have my voucher and I will try and see if it is accepted next week.:

This is what happens when a company employs staff that only care about cigarette breaks.

I had the same thing with ASDA 2 weeks ago wouldn't accept the Clover voucher, contacted clover via facebook who said it should have been accepted but they would send a new voucher in post, ideal.

Not quite ,went to ASDA Saturday, offered voucher, cashier not sure calls over Supervisor.
    "we don't accept downloaded coupons"
Its not this was posted to me,(shows letter coupon was cut from).
"unless it has our clearing company on the voucher we wont accept it"
Not again,I had trouble last week because it was downloaded so this has been posted to me to use here.
    No words just a look.........

OK,I start unpacking trolley and emptying bags back on checkout (9 bags £136)

    "what are you doing?"
"If you wont take the voucher I don't want any of it"
"No need to get shirty with me,I'll do it this time but we wont take them in future"

Pay for shopping,(voucher taken off)and come home.

Contact Asda today,"yes we do take all coupons"
Can I redeem my coupons and vouchers at my local Asda store?
At Asda we accept all manufacturers' coupons (including internet coupons) in line with their terms and conditions. You must buy the product to redeem the coupon.
