my partner applied for DLA form at beginning of February and they received it back at the start of March..and due to various mistakes and errors it only went to the decision maker on the 13th of June...how long usually does it remain with the decision maker?its causing us so much stress and would just like a decision either way

there is no real set time, it depends on whether the decision maker needs extra information and who they contact, I think from memory they say allow 12 week then ring and ask,xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

thank you, glad to help, at least knowing that that the have the necessary documents etc that should help the situ, -and help with the waiting time.
They'd take the 12 weeks from the 13th June, takes you to 12th Sept, - fingers crossed you could hear as early as 6 weeks or the full 12.
Good luck, take care and try not to worry although it is easier said than done! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
