Full house rewire SE London

Have been quoted £6500 for a full rewire. House is 4 double bed detached. 2 receptions. 3 Bathrooms. Won't be touching kitchen though as this is being changed soon anyway. Fairly happy with this quote given work involved but any other opinions always appreiated. Sound about right?

Sounds like it might be a little high as the kitchen is normally the most expensive room.

Any stuff outside? Garage, garden lights?

Are the bathrooms having lots of points eg shavers, under floor heating, mirror lights, fans etc

Also will the house be occupied or vacant during the work - this will hugely affect the cost.

If you are having down lights in every room though, this will be expensive....

If I was looking to get that value of work done, I would get another price (unless I'd had work done by the same person before)

Depending on the spec, that doesn't sound outrageous at all. I've known 3 bed 'high spec' out in the sticks come to the other side of £5k before now.

I am just about to finish mine. 3 bed semi - full rewire (LEDs throughout) incl kitchen and garage . Paying appx £4k. This is in a empty house though.
