I'm at a bit of a lose end. I strongly believe my husband was miss sold ppi, the problem is we no longer have any record of the credit agreement. I've tried to locate it with help from credit expert but they only seem to go back 6 years, I also tried Arriva where he purchased the car but they have no record of it now either. Would it be worth trying his old bank even though the account has been shut for a while. Would they still have records?

If it was car finance form a dealership from pre Janaury 2005 they can dismiss your complaint because they weren't regulated.
You need to complain to whoever sold it to you, so who sold it and when?Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
The complaint is made to the car dealer. Most car dealers only became regulated in Jan 2005. Was the sale before or after that?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
