Vivatic - blocked accounts

Has anyone here had experience of Vivatic and having their account blocked/deactivated? My OH and I have just had our accounts blocked. They've not given proper reasons and say that they won't enter into correspondence about it. I have just requested a payment so it seems to me that the 'reason' is that they just don't fancy paying out. Has anyone got an account unblocked and if so how did you go about it? I'm livid as I want my £25! Funny how they've suddenly got a problem with me the second I ask for some money but not a second sooner!

  • Welcome to the club - I have started a thread about this - all the details and emails to and from are on it. My partner and at least two ther people that I know of are in the same position. Check out my thead "Problems with Vivatic - warning" A few of us are now in touch and comparing notes - we have all been accused of fraud and our accounts closed. None of us have had any details on what we are supposed to have done and our earnings have been retained.

Had mine blocked too, only reason they gave was that I was doing repeated surveys?? I was only doing surveys that came up, Not my fault if some of the surveys were repetative....I still had to complete them.
Have contacted the director of icm, And he is going to investigate it...I have shown him emals sent from vivatic, And he was quite bemused by their response and said that something does not seem quite right with them lately as he has had several emails of complaint about them
  • Pepsimax - who are ICM and do you have a contact addy for the person you were in touch with ? There are at least two others as well as myself and my partner. The next move is that you are blocked from posting on the Facebook page. A new victim has surfaced today - their post is on the Your Say Pays forum. Methinks we need to pool info and resources. I'm going for the directors of MVF via LinkedIn. Headcount so far to my knowledge is eight ! Keep any emails that you send to them or get back from them. They will come in useful as evidence if this turns into a battle to get your money (I've been battling now for three months and still haven't got anywhere).

If you look at my thread, you can see what sort of response I got from Vivatic. I also contacted Populus and sent them a copy of the spreadsheet which Vivatic eventually sent me. I got a reply from Populus :
    Thank you for your message.
Unfortunately the ID numbers in Vivatic`s system do not correspond to the internal numbers in our system so we cannot check any details based on the spreadsheet provided.
However we have forwarded your message to our account manager in Vivatic and asked them to investigate your case again.

So as far as checking with the survey partners went, the spreadsheet was useless. After that, in spite of several emails to Vivatic, it took from 1st May until 10th of June before I got a response - 41 days. This was to inform me that my account would remain closed - the same day I was blocked from their Facebook page. The only reason that I got a response on June 10th was because I went onto the MVF Global FB page and made a comment there.
  • Crap. This gives me concern. Swagbucks already ripped me off of £55.

Don't let the hysteria over these blocked accounts put you off; people are blocked/booted because they don't stick to the rules, they have multiple accounts, or, as Vivatic themselves say they have been "fraudulent" in their conduct. Vivatic do pay, and even though there's been a blip in the payments - i.e. they arrived a day or two late - in the past, they've always come. You can therefore rest assured that as long as you're doing everything on the level, you'll be paid. Sorry to hear that Swagbucks ripped you off though. I'm with Swagbucks but I don't log in very often - they've probably cancelled my account by now!

Anyway, I expect to be blasted by several people for speaking my mind about Vivatic, even though they are allowed to speak their own minds......Nevertheless, I don't think it's fair to scaremonger people into believing that they won't be paid, simply because you've slipped up and gotten yourself blocked as a result. The notes here on this forum warn of people being blocked and kicked out because they've had multiple accounts etc.

No offence and not meaning to start a war but I would like to suggest you are slightly naive. 'Yeah right, they've blatantly cheated, got caught and they are butthurt...never happen' That was my attitude. I was dismissive then it happened to me. Then I was on the recieving end of it and it, and it isn't nice.

And some of the worst people are fangirls. You can post in a totally non-personal langauge, mature, critical manner and you get called a troll, liar etc. Surely because 'they've always been paid' one must be a liar when they complain.

Swagbucks probably, pains me to say it, do pay the majority of their members but I'm certain through research (very, very similar cases) that they skim also. If a company is large enough they can relatively easily skim a few dozen, hundred peoples accounts with a relatively tiny bleep on the radar, especially given all the genuine cheats and climate of opinion of majority of members overriding negative testimonals, or fanboys.

I'm not 'blasting' you and so it's clear to people - I haven't had any negative experiences with Vivactic. I do think it's daft when people become templar-minded to corporations though. They can put a facebook personification on or manifest personality if they want. They care first and foremost about money and they should be scrutinised and criticised wherever applicable.

Up to now, the only "blastings" that I have read have been from people/person defending Vivatic. There is an interesting thread on Review Centre where one poster seems to take comments about Vivatic very personally. Posts were offensive, personal and sarcastic, not to mention patronizing.

In all fairness, we are all entitled to express our views, even if that means you hold an opposing view that upsets a person who has had a bad experience. It's not meant to upset anyone - it's simply an opposing view.

Generally, when people have bad experiences with something, they become volatile if they hear anything that appears unsympathetic to their cause. I have read both reviews on review centre, and frankly, (even though I mean no offense to anyone), on the longer thread, it reads as tit for tat the whole way, Grassmonster, and I would struggle to pick out the "baddie" in the argument. The more worrying review is the shorter one where some poor sod dared to say that they had a positive experience, and were immediately set upon by two people who presumed the poster was someone else!

I think we all have to accept that we're not "right" all of the time - myself included. I mean no offense to anyone who has been blocked or had a bad do with a survey company as such. However, as a member of Vivatic and other survey panels, I am allowed to speak about my own experiences and how they differ to someone else's. It's unfortunate if that means that I appear unsympathetic to your blocking/banning, but I prefer to not enter into emotive exchanges, hence my decision not to comment on either of those dreadful slanging matches I've just read on review centre.:think:

This is hardly a comment on own experience, it clearly says you think wrong doing leads to the banning.

I think survey site admin sometimes get too suspicious regarding fraud and will ban or block people based on wide criteria which if they stood back and looked at it for more than a few minutes, would look ridiculous even to them.
It would be far fairer of them to email the member that they are unsure of and ask for details before condemning them.
I also think that any earnings they cannot ear mark as being won through deceit should be paid even if they are not up to the redemption limit if they are in fact going to ban the member.
To just make a blanket judgement on a person without giving them the chance to answer for themselves and then to relieve them of their entire earnings is unjust.
