Store Card PPI - where to start?

Hi everyone,
I'm considering trying to reclaim the PPI I have on a current store card. I think I was definitely mis-sold as I have a pre-existing medical condition so I wouldn't benefit from the insurance anyway. The card was opened in a Miss Selfridge store and I believe it was with GE Money (now Santander?).
My question is about the first letter I send and where to? I have found a template letter on here which involves a £1 cheque, but I've also found another one where I need to include £10 - which is it? Do I send it to Miss Selfridge or Santander?
Thank you so much for any help, I'm new to this today after just seeing Martin Lewis' spot on This Morning.

From 14 January 2005, Arcadia (of which Miss Selfridge is a trading style) was an Appointed Representative of Santander. So if it was on or after that date that the cover was sold, that is who you complain to.
If it was purchased earlier, you complain direct to Arcadia - but there is no recourse to the Financial Ombudsman Service for you.0 -
COmplaint to Santander, they wil refuse you, get in touch with the FOS, ask them who the insurer was, then complain to them.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
