Is it me? Never ticked PPI

Is it me? Always managed money well so never ticked PPI; went out of my way to make sure I never paid it.
Am I losing out? seems all those who did not read the small print are getting '000s in compensation via a media driven class action.
Where and against who can I claim and get money for just being sensible on the first place?

If you never paid then there is nothing to refund.seems all those who did not read the small print are getting '000s in compensation via a media driven class action.
The "compensation" is just a refund of premiums plus interest. So, they are not getting anything that they haven't paid in the first place. However, yes, there are a lot of people out there who bought it knowingly and on purpose who are now getting lucky with refunds.Where and against who can I claim and get money for just being sensible on the first place?

There are also a number of people who bought it in good faith thinking it would protect them, complying with any disclosure requirements (i.e. medical conditions) yet finding out when they do claim on the policy that they won't pay out.Competition wins:
