How to list my own competition

Hi everyone

I am getting quite addicted to competitions, although I don't have much time to do it. I have found this forum a mine of information.
I have started running small competitions on my website, and would like to put them on here.
Someone put my last one on here, but my current one isn't.
I understand I am not allowed to do it myself, and that's fine.
But am I allowed to send a message to a forum member and ask them? or is that frowned on?

I certainly don't want to break the rules, as I want to stay a member and hopefully get my 1st win soon.

if you are on Fb and have comping friends just ask if someone can chuck it on here for you

You can post your comps to some of the other comping sites and comping blogs and hope they get posted back to here. I think asking your friends to post is still kind of frowned upon and the link to your site could be blacklisted as a result of it
