Loan with my bank - £4037.94 (£448 per month) 9 payments left to go
Hi,
I haven't read through all of the posts below yours so this might have been said already, but my biggest bit of advice is in 9 months time when this loan is paid off, keep paying that same amount (£448pm) onto other debts. Don't think of it as 'extra money' being freed up, think of it as 1 section of the whole debt being paid off and transferring the payment to another section. Will soon make a big difference

Thanks Blitzboy
That's exactly what I have planned, I have a self made budget and planner so as soon as the loan is paid an extra £448.68 will go to clear Barclaycard
I will not feel like I have any 'Extra money' until I have reached my debt free day... This site is certainly helping me keep a focus on that!Life gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2026 1p challenge #7 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £5011/£60000 -
wow, you are doing great. good on you.
my thoughts-
the bank fee-your phone is probably covered under your contents insurance (check the excess fee though)
and roadside recovery can be bought cheaply through topcashback.co.uk.
think that may cost you less than £13.50 a month!
actually, that reminds me, try going through topcashback for your pet insurance when its due too (they have a comparison site on there) think I got about £40 back from mine.:TLIVE SIMPLY * GIVE MORE * EXPECT LESS * BE THANKFUL0 -
Thanks, the bank fee covers my phone and gadgets as well as hubby's, excess would be more in home insurance I'm afraid. There are other benefit too like the car insurance, my car is getting old and unreliable which pushes up the annual cost

Will definitely check top cash back next time the insurance is due though, thanks!Life gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2026 1p challenge #7 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £5011/£60000
