A fair comment but bulk bags are a very expensive way to purchase quantities of stone - a grab lorry would be cheaper if it was, say, a fully loaded eight wheeler.

Youd better hurry up as there are new regulations coming into force that will limit Hiab trucks to only dropping next to their vehicle. My friends business has 8 Hiab trucks and he's having to pay to send all of his drivers on a course to teach them how to do this, despite them all having operated Hiabs for a number of years and having dropped in some quite difficult places. Better rev up the barrows.

Don't these thing fail safe?, ie, the hydraulic bypass if the stretch is too great?

OP, hiab is the rule, the exception is the company that delivers by bag on a pallet truck, just check.

Interestingly enough I have ordered sand/ballast and slate recently, all off suppliers on ebay, all came from builders merchants in my vacinity, including Travis Perkins. The "sellers" are merely factoring orders.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
