Hello, my work has just enrolled me into a pension in April this year. I currently only pay 1% of my income per month. Do I need to inform HMRC about this for tax credits???

At 1% i don't think it will make any difference, but you can inform them, I'd leave it until their lines calm down from renewals personally, but if you think it means higher payments, do now.Tomorrow is the most important thing in life0

I dont think it would make a difference to be honest i only pay £7.21 a month into the scheme. Its more a case of keeping them informed of my circumstances.0

I know, it's just a busy time, you may be better waiting a few weeks, its deducted from your claim so do inform them, just saying if on hold or engaged it may be better off waiting a few weeks if wont change your award.Tomorrow is the most important thing in life0 -

You might be better off by contributing more to your pension?
