Help with Parking Eye

Options
Hi All

Hoping somebody could help me please?

Like a lot of people, got a Parking Charge Notice from Parking Eye, this week. 3 hour stay - 40 minutes over, at a retail park where around £150 was spent. This is in England.

Saw a thread a few days ago with a good template to use to appeal to PE whilst on Ipad, but now I can't find it.

Was wondering if there was a place where templates were held?

P.S - just wondering, if the process does go to court..how is this possible, if PE have no rights to fine you?

Cheers All

    Dear Parking Eye

In reference to the invoice xxxx dated xxxxx , the keeper denies all liability to your charge. The keeper was shopping at this store, and here is a photocopy of the receipt attached.

As there is no loss to you or the retailer , the keeper requires that you immediately cancel this invoice. If you reject this challenge, please forward a popla verification code to appeal to them independently.

It's possible because they are not fining you, like any other firm they have issued an invoice. And like any firm or person, they can try a small claim to get that invoice paid even if it's a load of twaddle. They are pressing ahead regardless, especially as they've appointed a law firm to help them and they know the 'Great British public' are something of a pushover for scams, in general.

That's why we say take the appeal route and get it quashed by POPLA.

Here's a pepipoo thread with other short appeals linked, similar to Stroma's:

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=80125&st=20&start=20

and here's a POPLA examples post I did recently for that stage:

Two stages is all it takes to get this quashed as long as you word it right. Come back for help before you send off your POPLA appeal in due course.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
