Most of the sites I have been to for home insurance quotations are refusing to quote - they say that you need to call in!
No claims ever made! & all the TC's before proceeding to the quotation stage are met or even exceeded. Even if I change certain things and being a bit naughty using another house no same thing.
Any ideas? I do not like giving huge amounts of personal details as some insurers take the biscuit, (and funnily enough these happen to be the worst quote’s) while others are really good and only want to know the basics.

I'm guessing but it's possible they are a little suspicious that you want insurance immediately.
Mostly people would get it in advance so someone that wants insurance right now may be beacuse they need to claim.
Only guessing though.0 -
Just tried it again (multiple sites) with dates in advance no joy.
Looks like I have no choice but to call them!0
