Hi all, I recently topped up my orange pre paid master card with my bank visa debit card, all went well and no fees for doing so, I was wondering if I was to top up the pre paid card with my actual credit card would the transaction be recognised as a Cash transaction or a goods transaction?? would I suffer huge penalty the same as if I was to draw money out of the credit card at the ATM . Thankyou.

My guess would be that they will see this as a purchase if Orange charge 4%. If you really consider paying 4% for this, try a small amount and you'll see.

Was wondering if there was a loophole here for withdrawing Cash from the credit card, transfer to the prepaid master card and withdraw from it avoiding the huge interest rate issued by the credit card company, I am aware of the charges from the orange side of things but from the Santander credit card I am not sure? Will try to call them today to ask. Without telling them the reason of course.
