The other responses are mostly correct for people of working age.
But if you are old enough to claim pension credit then you will not be affected by the "bedroom tax". So if you are entitled to guarantee pension credit, you will get full housing benefit.

Thanks sleepless saver, I had forgotten that age can make a difference. However, norfolkshops, I do think you need to contact your Housing Association to discuss, as your situation sounds quite complex.0
