Priceline Car Hire in Mallorca

Hi all

I have just realised I make a mistake in booking my car hire from palma airport, I had booked it with argus car rentals but have since found out the car will actually be provided by Gold Car a quick search tells you all you need to know about this company !!!!

So with a bit of looking around I found priceline.com an American price comparision site with good prices on car hire from "brand" name car rental companies. some o the prices were around half price when compared with the rental companies own UK website prices.

I was wondering if anyone else had booked car rentals though them and what their experiances were of it.

Many thanks

  • Priceline are fine once you've booked. By the time you've got to the final booking page I'll bet the cost has gone up though. They seem to have every optional extra I can think of. Worse then Ryanair.

Then OTB's experience is different from mine.

I have happily booked car rentals in the US and Canada and paid exactly what I expected to pay. I wouldn't think that Spain would be different.

Of course, it is useful - and necessary - to read the terms and conditions, just as you should with every retailer. ;)

Well I have also made the observations to it that it happens like that when we are going to finalize our booking , the bills go to height. But some companies are not follow this process and make the constant rates deals that would reasonable and also fixed.
