Hi,
Im just enquiring as to:
- What would be fair price to remove one of these, bearing in mind it is an old model and believe it to contain asbestos
- Is it fairly simple job to carry out? or is a professional plumber needed
Regards
Andy

Get a Corgi in to disconnect and cap the gas supply & render it inoperable in some way - best idea is to remove the gas valve.
It is then no longer a gas appliance.
After that you can just remove it yourself, it is a very simple job.0 -
Seek advice from you councils environmental health department first regarding the asbestos.
Our council had more of a problem with the cupboard linings when they removed all the warm air units before installing new wet CH systems.0
