Lease extension - how long?

Wondering if anyone would know roughly how long the final stages of a lease extension will take?
I've offered on a property with a short lease, which the current owner is extending prior to completion. Mortgage, survey, contracts (draft) etc. all done - just waiting for the lease to be finalised before we can move forward.
As I understand it, the price has been agreed and the draft lease extension is with the freeholder's solicitors. They received this about 2 weeks ago.
Any ideas on how long this final stage might take? Starting to get a bit impatient now
Any info much appreciated!!
