This is probably a silly question...

I'm looking for a decent hotel in London, fairly central for two / three nights around £50 mark (per night).

Is that even possible?

It's just, I've never stayed in a decent hotel in London, they've always been cheap and just a place to rest my head. I've never enjoyed them. So for once, it'd be nice to stay in a hotel that's a bit better.

Can anybody help me? It's just for me on my own, two maybe three nights end of July / start of August time. Preferably as close to central as possible.

What do you think guys? Think you can work your magic and help me?

Thank you!

Tune hotel Liverpool Street, depending on date from £55 per night end of July. (Prices shown after selecting date are for stay not per night). Tiny Room but aircon, on-suite huge bed (fills most of room) but at this price no windows. Search dates for best deals. New Tune open now in Melbourne with some great deals, but maybe a bit too far way for you!

Superbreaks were doing 3 nights in London inc rail travel for as little as £150 (from York)
There's some ropey hotels on the list but the Comfort inn in Paddington is OK
That's cheaper than just booking the room direct

Do Superbreaks still charge per person though rather than per room?
