The seller is the boss at the EA ??!??! wont take under 120k ? next door went for 40k less....etc etc
Why didnt you mention that in your first post!
walk away , fast, always another house
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.
  • Ive just seen the price the house next door went for now, ive spent the afternoon doing some research. Yes, its a well known EA in the area, i am really put off using them. Its such a shame because they represent a lot of sellers in the area.

Yes the seller is a director at the EA, the fact that he didnt show up when we requested that he come to the second viewing was bad, but we liked the property so decided to try and look at it sensibly and get on with it and see if there was any way we could just get the house - only if it is worth the price though. I am thinking it is not!

I can only agree with the other posters - walk away. The house of your dreams is out there - it might just take a while to find it
