ARGHHHHHH..... what a waste of time!!!!

Options
Hi all,

Just a vent!!!!

Went into Homebase yesterday, we were looking at garden furniture sets to go on our new patio we have just had laid.

We decided on a particular set, asked if it was in stock, were told it was for home delivery, 8 -10 days wait, that's fine we said.

Have gone back in store today to order, to be told it's not available, hasn't been for about a week now, and is unavailable, full stop!!! so we asked if we could purchase the one on the shop floor..... No, that's been reserved for another customer last week.....

I did ask why there was no notice on shop floor model to say 'this set is discontinued/unavailable', all I got was a shrug of shoulders - mad - what a complete waste of time.............

Think of it this way, it may have saved you money, because the weather we are having at the moment, means that there is little chance of it being used. Give it another couple of weeks there will be massive sales of garden furniture, because, no one is buying it because of the weather. I have been thinking of buying a new garden set, but, I seem to spend one day mowing the lawn and tidying the borders, then I spend a week watching everything grow back in the pouring rain.

I think my garden set is cursed by the weather as soon as I bring them out it clouds over and the rain sets in, my neighbours now watch me putting the chairs out and know to bring their washing in. :~((((((
