late payment markers versus AR marker

Hi,
If you owe an amount and make an arrangement to pay it off over a few months and stick to the arrangement - should the credit company not be marking the account as AR for arrangement rather than adding a late payment marker each month.
I owed on an avon account in Jan due to being messed around by customers etc. I arranged with them to pay off £100 pm for 5 months. They have put late payment markers on my account - 5 in total. I cleared the remaining balance today so it should soon be marked as satisfied however I was sure that if you enter into an arrangement they should be putting AR which does not reflect on the amount of late payments you have made?
Any advice appreciated as Experian phone lines are not open today.
Thanks if you can help

I think Equifax record things in that way, but Experian don't show an arrangement in the monthly status codes? Instead any arrangement is shown under the account details?Still rolling rolling rolling......

oh dear - do you think this means there is no way to get away from the late payment markers? I hope they disappear as the balance is clear.0
