Me & my husband are looking for a good holiday destination in UK but can't seem to make up our mind...where is a good place to go for 5 days? Where it will be sunny & there will be things to do? Thanks.

You should have put this in the UK Holidays section And you will struggle with the "where it will be sunny" I'm afraid.
Good luck with your search

There's not many places in Northern Europe where sun is guaranteed and certainly none in the UK
You could hedge your bets though, Sussex is the sunniest county0 -

Maybe I should re-phrase that to will be a bit more sunny than other parts of the country...lol.0

Devon and Cornwall.0

Has anyone been to Torquay in Devon? It looks really nice but I'm not sure if there is enough to do for 5 days.0

I live in Devon, i'd personally opt for Cornwall you could over 5 nights stay in a couple of different locations to ensure you have plenty to do over the week0

I'd go to Devon or Cornwall, plenty to see and do. As for Sussex - don't bother!! Godforsaken dump and I live here....rain, rain, rain, rain and wind and more and more rain.....0

And the rain comes mostly from the west, Cornwall, Devon, Somerset etc. Sussex just gets the little bit that's left!!!0 -
If you want to go as far south of possible in search of the sun, have you thought about the Channel Islands? It's technically not part of the UK (or the EU) but you don't need a passport to go there and they don't use foreign money.0
