Hi,

When purchasing something through Paypal using their credit card option. Do Vanquis treat that as a normal transaction or a cash one where the charges are more?.

It has just been a normal transaction when I've done it. If you use it for something they consider cash a "Cash Advance Fee" will appear on your online statement alongside it.

even paying paypal for betting sites etc is treated as cash withdrawal. i made this mistake, only once. I now have my debit and credit card linked.
If you keep on doing what's you've always done, you'll keep on being what you've always been...

Please could someone tell me who Vanquis actually are? I keep on receiving offers for credit cards through the post from them but have never heard of them or had any dealings in the past?

I am treating it as junk mail and chopping up the card they send me each time!

    Thanks.

They are a credit card provider often recommended for those who are trying to build up their credit record. They offer low limits, high interest and are not as strict with credit checks as others.

If you don't want and haven't asked for a credit card why would you do anything else?
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

If you haven't appled for a card with them, aren't you concerned at WHY they are sending you one?
