So, update. Not very positive I'm afraid. Am having real difficulty in finding a job. I've been out of the uk market for a long time and at my level they are looking for someone with a following. This is not going to be as easy as I thought and I have to try not to let it get me down. I have toda off so may try to re-write cv and do some more searches. Currently feel quite trapped!
Oh and he bloke I was sort of seeing has gone radio silent - it never rains but it pours hey?! Still, if I'm honest and I mean totally honest with myself he wasn't really for me - too old, not in great health and quite anti-social!I want to be a writer0
