Change of Balance show as new credit taking

Registered with Experian to check credit rating and found that I get a fair rating, 2 mentions of recently taking out new credit agreements are showing as negatives.
The first recent 'credit agreement' related to a £6 add on I put on my existing mobile phone contract - does this really look bad to new lenders?:(
The second one is a little more annyoing!
I have a personal loan with Tesco Bank, Balance of £9K last month I called them and made a payment of £5K (cash from house move) they told me that doing this means I could reduce the monthly payments great! (or so I thought) I then received a phone call to say that I had been advised incorrectly and the type of loan i have ment I couldnt reduce monthly installment amounts, without this monthly reduction I had to take my payment back.
Now this is the annoying bit! On my experian it shows I had have just taken an additional £5K from tesco last month as the balance dropped to only £2K and is now back at £9K so anyone who doesnt know the background thinks I just got £5K of new credit (whereas all I did was get my money back and balance go back to what it was). is there anything I can do about this? As I didnt take any new credit I just tried to pay some off and got burned by badly trained call centre staff.:mad:
There is also no mention on my main current account where wages are paid into? however there is an entry for a current account I use with husband for paying our house direct debits but this isnt where wages or anything paid into. Should this account show? Or should it be my main bank account or does it not matter?

Hi,
That thing with the Tesco loan is awful! I don't know if/how you can get it removed, I am no expert on such things.
However I think you should put a formal complaint into Tesco, and see if there is anything they can do with the fact that there error has caused this, maybe they can tell the CRA?
If Tesco do not settle the complaint, then ask for it to be escalated.0 -
