Morrisons petrol card swis

Well, I have had my petrol reward card for years and collected points whenever I filled up. I have never in years and years had anything from this in the ££££££s I have put in. I asked the cashier at the petrol station to check what actual points I have. She said because I haven't used it for a while (about 4 weeks in fact) that the points have been zeroed and I will have to phone a special number to get them put back on.

What a ripp off ! as well as misleading. They wouldn't have told me that if I hadn't have asked. Not sure what points I will have put back on if I ring the number but I have spent enough money at their pums on this card over the years.

Just beware this hasn't happened to you. I am not sure what you actually get with the points anyway as I have never been allowed to use them in the supermarket.

You end up, once you have collected so many points, cant remember how many of the top of my head, then you get a £5 voucher which yu can spend in the Store.

Never heard of the zero ing bit though, I have to admit.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

There are not many petrol schemes that allow the accumulation of benefits. If you collected (say) Shell points, each quarter they total the points and send a time-limited cash voucher, if this is not used in time, the value is lost.

It seems you've hit a similar issue, but NOT that you've not used it for a few weeks - you might want to check their T&C's of use to see what happened.

You get a £5 for every 500 litres of fuel you buy, http://www.morrisons.co.uk/Help-and-information/store-services/Fill-up-at-your-convenience/

They give you the voucher at the petrol station automatically when you reach enough points. Doesn't say anything on the website about points expiring, maybe they got it wrong have you checked how many points it says on your receipt.

I have looked on my receipt and it says previous points 0, Points earned 0 and that was after I gave her my card yesterday so she didn't even add the points. What an absolute con. Tried phoning but no answer.

When I used to work in a Morrisons petrol station (about 8 years ago), it was 4995 points = £5 voucher and no zeroing.

    Cash?

    Honestly?

The Morrisons Miles scheme gives a £5 voucher, to spend in store.

Well,i have been using a petrol card from Morrisons for quite a few years now.I don't always fill up with fuel there as it is out of our area and i don't do many miles anyway. So it takes a while to get to the voucher stage but never have i had any points taken away for not using it regularly. And i have always been given a £5 voucher automatically. The only thing i have noticed is,since they introduced money off per litre if you buy gift cards in store, you now only get the equivalent of 1p off per litre,it used to be 1 1/2 p.
