I don't think that you can take another one out to get a BT deal on it, but what you could do is phone barclays and ask them if there are any deals for you at present (say you are going to cancel the card and see what happens). There is a thread previous that talks about barclays retentions.
Other than that can you not open another card with a 0% deal as there are good ones out there.
This is one reason to cancel cards that you are never to use again as if you had cancelled it 2 yrs ago you would have been able to open another and get a 0% deal.0 -
thanks for ur reply ...i should of cancelled to be honest totally forgot , they have sent me a letter offering 4.9% transfer fee 0% for 25 months , but they have much better ones for new card holders , i think il ring them on monday to see if they will offer any lower rates thanks for advice !!! iv also noticed a good one with lloyds 21 months with just a 1.5% fee and thats who i have banked with for 25yrs too0

Hope you get a good deal from barclays or get the lloyds one.
I am one to talk about cancelling cards as it is only recently that i cancelled the various 0% deal cards that I have had over the years after transferring away from them :-)
so easy to forget.0
