Cleaning laminate flooring

Hi

I'm moving shortly and the new place has laminate flooring. I've never had it before. What's the best way of cleaning it?

You can buy special sweepers with disposable anti-static cloths to catch dust and dirt.

To mop clean, use something like pledge wood/laminate floor cleaner mixed with water in a bucket.

The most important thing with Laminate (any wood based flooring) is to only use spray mists of cleaner. If it takes more than 60 seconds to dry, you are probably using too much liquid. Look for spray mops with microfibre pads.

I've cleaned mine for 8 years+ with boiling hot water and Flash on a microfibre mop. It dries very quickly as the water is so hot.

Exactly what I do.

I tend to sweep it or vacuum it but to get it clean properly I mop it afterwards.

To be honest you should only mop floors with boiling hot water and a well rung out mop regardless of the surface you are cleaning.
