Anyone with experiences of TogOut.co.uk?

I can only tell you what I know and they have always given me a good service. Let us know what happens with your claim/return etc.
PS - Brazil were jammy! Becks is back!0 -
A short update. I called consumer direct to ask their advice and they seemed to think that it'd be easiest if I chased up the claim with Royal Mail, since Togout won't.
The interesting part is that after having a quick look at the website they also seemed to think there might be issues with it, and said that they wanted to refer it to Trading Standards to look further into it. A day or two later I had a quick call from Trading Standards asking me to tell them my experience. They said they'd found some shortcomings of the site, notably in 2 of the points I mentioned in the original post, not displaying their address and in the T&Cs, which apparently aren't detaled enough. The woman from Trading Standards said it just looks like Togout 'need a little help' from them in getting their site into line with the legal requirements.
Again, I don't want to sound like I'm particularly warning people away from this site, hopefully they'll now get it properly in order to the benefit of their customers.0 -
Hey Fatal Swan - how have you got on with the Royal Mail. Any updates about my fav website?
I just received a new code from them and have been busy ordering, but I guess you won't be following me on that one - lol
Let us know what happens with you - and remember "there's only one David Beckham - one David Beckham - errr - etc etc"0 -
Sorry for the slow update... In the meantime, 2 days after the nudge from Consumer Direct and Trading Standards (and 22 days after posting) Togout received the parcel and made the exchange/refund. So all is sorted now. I'd like to think it wasn't the fuss I made that got me some progress... So the jury's still out as far as I'm concerned, I'd consider ordering again if I could get their stuff for the same great prices, though I won't until they improve their T&Cs! Thanks for the help, especially diceman123!0

Sorry people if this has nothing to do with the thread just a question i really need to ask
just wondering whether Togouts clothing is genuine or fake, as i read a post where something was fake and also someone told me to be careful with site that dont respond back to emails or phone calls
Fatal Swan
you said you contacted trading standards and consumer support or advice, where on trading standards website did you find there number, because i have a something to report and i wanted the number. if you could please send me the link for the number0 -
ok Fatal Swan answer this at the following thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=474749
wow millionairejnr you really know how to post, you posted it in quite a few places0 -
Just posted this at the 474749 link but here we go again:
TogOut, as Fatal Swan correctly said, sell genuine merchandise. I consider myself a bit of a designer label expert and can vouch for them. I know someone at CK underwear (Warnaco) who also said they had all genuine accounts. So if you buy from ASOS or TogOut.co.uk you will be safe. Not sure about some of the others mentioned as I mainly stick to these two sites.
Also if you phone up Levi's, Pepe, CK underwear etc I am sure they will tell you who has an account and who doesnt and I am willing to bet on TogOut and ASOS being legit. Anyone wanna place a bet?
I really like these couple of websites and get kinda upset when people slag them off as I guess they are only trying to make an honest buck. There's loads of sites that sell dodgy grey imports and these don't seem to get the same poor treatment on this forum.
Also they always have answered my emails and phonecalls in the past - but then again I don't normally call as never had a problem.
Glad to hear it all got sorted with Fatal Swan and that at least he is big enough to give them appropriate credit, even if no one else is. Could go on and on, but I am sure you would all prefer I shut up my moaning now.
All the best.0
