plumbing w/c problem

Hi there.
I recently had some work done on my w/c (toilet).
The work carried was:
Float arm change
Ball !!!!
Problem with the flush not working correctly and sorting a problem with slow filling.
The plumber was here for 1.30hrs and charged £60.00
Does this seem fair?

yes for the time he was there, but unfortunately unless he did more than you have said then he was there far too longI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
Not necessarly - toilets can be tricky and need extra work some times!
That job could be 30 minutes in ideal conditions - which 99% of jobs are not . . . .I was going to put the name of my plumbing business here so you know what I do should I give out any advice plumbing wise - however apparently I cant do that - go figure!!!!!
New signature - I am a Plumber (I am just not allowed to tell you!)0 -
It sounds fair to me..Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

£60 sounds reasonable , but he does sound , lets say , methodical....but then , he hasnt charged you an hour and a halfs plumber labour so you did OK...Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0
